Joshua Griffin
My name is Joshua Griffin, I am a graduating Senior, Kinesiology: Sports Medicine Major, from Rancho Cucamonga. I am previous scholarship recipient, I want to say thank you to everyone apart of the GLAMMA Organization for the love and support. Kristian Parker
My name is Kristian Parker, I am a graduate of Saint Monica Catholic High and now a freshman at Morehouse looking to major in psychology. I am also a student athlete, playing football and baseball, while participating in a mock government program called Youth and Government at the Crenshaw Family YMCA. I am looking to open up my own practice and with a focus on youth counseling. Thank you to the Morehouse LA Alumni who were so gracious enough to bestow me with the GLAMAA scholarship.
Omarri Beck
Omarri Beck is currently a junior, sociology major, public health minor at Morehouse College by way of the South Los Angeles area. As this is Omarri’s third year attending Morehouse, his motivation for attending Morehouse is the Brotherhood that the school instills in their students, and to also become the first male in his immediate family to obtain a college degree. His consistent work ethic and commitment to his goals serves as an everyday purpose to “Get up, and Get to it!”
His career aspirations include becoming a Community Health Director for the Public Health Department of Los Angeles, or Atlanta, GA. His purpose in life, which is to help make an impact in the lives of others, can be seen through his weekly community service hours through the Adams Scholars Program at Morehouse College.
Terrence Mitchell
My name is Terence Mitchell and I am a senior economics major at Morehouse College. I have had an amazing matriculation through Morehouse thus far gaining unforgettable experiences, dependable relationships, and a phenomenal education. The GLAMAA has given me the opportunity to help ease my financial situation while providing encouragement and support as I take the home stretch of my college career. I am highly honored to be a recipient of the 2020 GLAMMA scholarship program and I look forward in continuing my endeavors toward success while providing any service that I can render!
